Commissioned on the theme of Delhi Mughal Garden, the garden embraces rare plants of Persian, Afghani and French origin. This aesthetically designed garden comprising lotus pools and fountains have an intricate irrigation mechanism for lawns and flowerbeds. Trees and plant species are appropriately labelled for convenient identification.

Among other distinct attractions of the garden is the Lal Bagh Rock, which is around 3000 million years old. At present, Lal Bagh is maintained by the Directorate of Horticulture, Government of Karnataka. A centre for scientific study of plants and botanical artwork, this garden is testament of natural beauty.
