People come in the early morning to enjoy the cool crisp air and the sunrise as I walk the 1.2 mile circuit around the lake. A great way to start the day any day of the year in Southern California. There are fantastic playgrounds for children and ample room for picnics and birthday parties. But it is also a haven for wild birds - not just the ducks and geese but also migrating wild geese and elegant egrets.
