During summer is a good location for recreation together with family. If you are a fan of water-sports the lake is a great "resource". You can rent a boat, ski-jet or water-ski. It is closed to Bucharest. Takes about 30-40 minutes from Bucharest to reach it. Of course there some good restaurants and few beaches for the sun bath.
