La Pergola is something of a stalwart on the Bahrain dining scene. The last decade has seen the arrival of newer and trendier rivals, but La Pergola is still regarded as one of the safest bets for Italian fine dining in the kingdom. We stopped by for lunch to see how well the restaurant is wearing its years. The service is fantastic good old fashioned prompt friendly staff who remember you and your likes and dislikes and are willing to tweek the dishes to suit you.
