About

Kusasenri is in a great location with a view of smoking Mt. Nakadake. It's a shallow, square prairie spread over the northern base of Mt. Eboshidake. The scenery is truly idyllic; there's a large pond in the center and horses graze on the pasture. Kusasenri is a popular spot and has many visitors all year round, as it offers places for horse riding and strolling, in addition to beautiful scenery. As the seasons change, the grass turns from a vivid green in summer to a beautiful silvery white in winter. Kusasenri is one of Aso's most iconic landscapes, and many poets have composed poems depicting it.
