The food here isn't just good, it's very good, according to the restaurant's jovial owner Damir Plaziblat. Briskule is a fairly new entry in the Korcula dining scene, but since its opening in 2003, it is already gaining a following. This is because of its low prices, high quality, and, as Plaziblat says, because the cooking is "from the heart." The menu is flexible because he or chef Duro Petrovic buys whatever looks good that day at the fish market. The mussels, at 50kn ($9) for a huge portion, are a steal.
