Konak is reminiscent of the palaces that are in the heart of Istanbul. You will find the main dining room to be amazingly spacious and roomy. The 18-foot ceilings, skylights, and softly hued tile floors produce the airy effect of feasting in an open court. The interior is adorned in Turkish regalia. Walls are draped in an intriguing array of handmade family heirlooms of needlepoint, cast-iron candleholders, and wood framed mirrors. Hookahs, intricately engraved antique teapots and lamps line the end tables and windows. Cozy sofas are lined with brightly-colored embroidered satin pillows. You will feel as if you've been transported on a magic carpet to Istanbul as you eat and drink in their surroundings. Indulge in a menu consisting of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes as well as in the comprehensive list of Turkish wines that they have imported from all regions of Turkey.
