Ko Yo Island is a beautiful tropical island that is the connecting gateway from Hadyai to other northern destinations of the Thai kingdom. It is accessible by traveling across the Tinsulanond Bridge. There are various temples on Ko Yo Island, such as Wat Phrahorn Laemphor, Wat Kok Pew, Wat Thai Yo and more. There is also the Southern Folklore Museum that aims to preserve the unique culture of the south, with its pavilions being reproductions of southern Thai-style houses. Exhibits showcased include religion art, fabrics, pottery and more. Ko Yo Island is also known for its jackfruit and hand-woven cotton, with the Ko Yo cloth being named as a five-star product from Songkhla. There are also many seafood restaurants that offer hungry visitors a great meal, with Ko Yo Island being famous for its white snapper.
