There's something post-apocalyptic about Fabryka, the Podgórze club and creative space run by the people behind Kazimierz's legendary Alchemia bar. It inhabits the site of an abandoned cosmetics factory, and not much seems to have changed since the last lipstick was made here. Every office, corridor and square inch of factory floor is used to host art exhibitions, film screenings and - on Friday and Saturday nights - plenty of hedonistic partying. The music policy is wildly eclectic, but the focus is on underground dance and experimental electronica from both live acts and DJs.
