A small, intimate space that opened in 1998, Kinsale Art Gallery is an informal place where art enthusiasts, collectors and first time buyers can browse through an exciting collection of works seven days a week. The gallery overlooks the marina in Kinsale County Cork. Well known as a Medieval town and gourmet capital of good food the narrow streets of Kinsale are also home to many colourful shops and galleries. Kinsale Art Gallery specialises in Irish and Irish-based artists of high quality, past and present. Work by leading 21st century Irish artists including James Brohan, Gladys Maccabe, Colin Gibson and Arthur Maderson is stocked. Close liaison with the artists enables the gallery to pass on any queries or specific requests from the clients to the artists.All works are personally selected by the owner, Brian Andrews, and careful attention is paid to authenticity, condition and quality. A wide range of subject matter is always available, including landscape, marine, sporting, figurative and still-life.
