Khair-ud-Din Masjid, situated in the Hall Bazaar, is one of the most admired religious centres in Amritsar. Famous among the locals as well as the tourists, this beautiful mosque was built by Muhammad Khairuddin in 1876.  This holy place is the site, where Tootie-e-Hind, Shah Attaullah Bukhari raised his voice against the British rule.
