The Kengeleni Bell was once used to warn people of the coming of slave traders. It is now surrounded by a small garden and the shopping square itself. There is a thrifty second hand shop upstairs where 'mitumba' clothes are displayed as in a high end fashion shop but costing only a tiny percentage more than to be found down in the market muck across the road. It is well worth a visit with several banks, a bookshop, chemist etc
