The giant Küppers Brauhaus is located it the southern-most part of the Südstadt, which makes it rather inconvenient to reach by U-Bahn or bus, especially at night. None the less, in summer the massive beergarden is always full. Inside is a typical Kölsch Brauhaus atmosphere, with wooden tables and loud conversation. The service is friendly and efficient. The menu even provides for vegetarians, which is rare in a Brauhaus. In the Kuppers Club, concerts and cabaret are held. The annual Comedy Cup as part of the Kölner Comedy Festivals is more popular every year.
