Perched atop of the Sriwijaya Building in the busy roundabout of Jl. Mayjend Sungkono, it was easy to miss the existence of Kayu restaurant. This Japanese restaurant has been around for a year now and it is slowly getting more crowded each time I visit which is a good sign.Japanese food served here is quite authentic and the décor is immaculate which makes it difficult for one to resist its charm given the rarity of decent restaurant with good ambiance in Surabaya.
