Karl Johans Gate is the main shopping street in Oslo. At the lower end is the Central Station then it is a long slog uphill to the Royal Palace at the top. The lower half is pedestrianised where you will find a number of stalls set up selling iconic Norwegian goodies such as ugly looking trolls and knitted hats and jumpers.
