About

The Kalbarri Wildflower Centre presents the opportunity to view a spectacular display of West Australian flora in a native botanic garden setting. Walk along the 30 minute interpretive nature trail where you can see 200 species of flowers which have been conveniently labelled for identification. Alternatively take a guided tour of the flowers with an experienced botanist who will provide you with an educational walk amongst the flowers. On your return to the entrance, you can sit down and enjoy a 20 minute video about the local wildflowers or enjoy a well deserved Devonshire tea before perusing the souvenir shop. Extend your visit to the centre by bringing along a picnic and making use of the excellent picnic facilities. Located in the small coastal town of Kalbarri, a six hour drive north of Perth, the wildflower centre is one of many attractions in the region. Visit the Kalbarri Oceanarium for an interactive educational insight into the local marine life. A trip to Kalbarri National Park is imperative, with spectacular gorges and canyons along the Murchison River and an unforgettable wildflower display.
