Tucked in one of the capital's biggest malls, Kafe Betawi is a great dining option no matter how large your party. Betawi literally means Native Jakartan, and the menu offers variety of Jakartan culinary delights. Highly recommended is their Laksa Betawi, Soto Mie (noodle soup), Sop Buntut Goreng (fried oxtail soup), Lontong Cap Gomeh (rice cake in a coconut-based soup) and Nasi Uduk (coconut rice with condiments). Finish the course with the ever popular desserts Kue Rangi or Es Cendol. Prices are very affordable and the service is fast and friendly.
