Johnny V - South Beach
956 Washington Ave.
Cuisines: American
About
The restaurant features the regional American cuisine of Chef Johnny Vinczencz. One that could only be born in Miami. It has an American style all its own with strong Latin and Caribbean influences from the many ethnic cultures which make up South Florida. Dishes like Duck Confit "Vaca Frita" with black bean sauce and tostones, or Yellow tomato gazpacho with barbequed shrimp and avocado salsa, sit a long side the chefs signature wild mushroom pancake with roasted portobello and balsamic syrup. Steak Lovers are acknowledged with several cuts of USDA Prime, offered with inventive sides like Yuca "Tater Tots" and Fresh Baby Creamed Corn. The restaurant features a soaring 20 foot high glass encased wine room that holds over 6000 bottles. Johnny V's has two distinctive dining rooms, two bars, and an outside patio with a water wall featured in a lush tropical setting. To complete your experience cap off the evening with one of award winning pastry chef Malka Espinel's hand crafted desserts.
