Joe's River Tropical Rainforest is set on a spectacular 85 acres of forest located on the outskirts of Bathsheba in the parish of St. Joseph. The woodland sprawls from the Atlantic side of the island to one of the highest points in Barbados known as Hackleton's Cliff. Here hikers are afforded a breathtaking view of the eastern coastline. It is one of the best hiking areas for nature seekers with trails through lush flora and fauna with endless opportunities to see an array of tropical wildlife. -Nadia Ali
