Jinx Café
1928 West Division St Cuisines: AmericanAbout
This is where you will find all the teenage "stray cats" and rockabilly James Dean look-alikes in a crowded haze of punk-rock irreverence. Service here can be slow and sometimes nonexistent as the staff socializes with friends, but at other times it is snappy and thorough. The food is average café fare, but all vegetarian and all inexpensive. The grilled cheese with tomato is sufficient alongside the radioactive punch of the house blend coffee. The décor is edgy with the walls hanging with art school projects or flyers for local bands. Make sure to check out the vintage arcade games.
