It is one of the most popular treks that start in Paro following Pachu River upstream, to the Jhomolhari

base camp at Jangothang and return via the same route or by an alternative trail to Paro. The view of the

Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m) from Jangothang is so spectacular that leaves the trekkers with an everlasting

feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment. This popular trek also affords an excellent opportunity to explore

narrow cultivated valleys, high passes, and old ruins, high alpine to semi tropical forest and yak
