Jericho Beach is a little bit more of a trek from downtown than Kits Beach, but it's well worth the extra 10-minute drive. Jericho beach is a favorite to locals because it's much less crowded than other popular beaches. Old waterlogged trees are scattered on the beach and act as the perfect back rest as you soak up the sun, or enjoy an evening picnic. The view from Jericho Beach is unlike any other; watch freighters and cruise ships stroll past as people windsurf in the distance. Across the water is West Vancouver and a beautiful mountain landscape. Visit in the evening and watch the sun set in all of its glorious colors. Short Description: Sun, sand and an amazing view!
