Jalagamparai waterfalls is a beautiful spot for picnic. The falls can be reached after a 1 hour trek of 6 km from Nilavoor. While flowing through the valley, the river gives rise to the waterfalls. In the vicinity of the waterfalls, there is a Murugan Temple which has been constructed in the shape of a Shiva Lingam. The site is also frequented by trekkers and nature lovers. Many tourists also carry their food along with them to the site in order to enjoy a family picnic.
