Looking for a true Barcelona experience Then Jai-Ca is the place to go. Nestled in one of Barceloneta's small side streets, if it wasn't for the hoards of people lined up outside all vying for a table, you could easily miss it. Jai-Ca has some of the most amazing tapas in the city and although they veer towards the 'greasier' end of the scale, they're always fresh and absolutely delicious. This small, hole in the wall establishment doesn't take reservations and it's rare that you pass by and find one of their outdoor or indoor tables with spaces available; if you do manage to get a seat however, it's hard to find a more local experience than this!
