Jadi Handicrafts Centre

57 Jalan Sultan Ismail

About

Situated just off the bustling Jalan Bukit Bintang, this storehouse of wood handicrafts is a sight to behold for any visitor. Adorning the display shelves are figurines of traditional dancers, Malay warriors and mythical symbols from local folklore. These have been hand-carved with a high degree of skill and patience. Some of them originate from Sarawak, where certain tribes are well known for their carving skills. Prices are reasonable. A piece with an intricately carved hibiscus motif, ideal for wall decoration, costs MYR24.
