This new Carmel Mountain branch of the famous Jacko's near the port is more stylish, as befits its upmarket location, but like the original Jacko's, it serves the best fish and seafood in town. The Aegean meze of ikra, feta cheese, Arabic salads, roasted eggplant, and other treats is a great way to start the meal. Honey-soaked Sephardic-Aegean semolina cake is the dessert of choice.
