Good pizza is meant to be simple and Italianissimo masters it at a price point that's negligibly higher than mass-produced delivery chains. The penne with tomato, capers and olives is well-balanced and light with a salty kick, as is the linguine with sundried tomatoes and anchovies. If you're going all-out on the cheese front, then the gnocchi with cheese fondue sounds rich and indulgent. The menu also has a sizeable seafood selection, including platters of grilled shellfish, octopus and fish fillets if you're not keen on a carb-fest. To get the best out of Italianissimo, stick to the Italian staples and ignore the frivolous fusion dishes that randomly appear on an otherwise impressive menu.
