The largest souvenir shop in Charlestown is Island Hopper, owned by Maurice Widdowson of St. Kitts. Choose among the locally made batiks from the famous St. Kitts Caribelle Batik, also owned by Mr. Widdowson. Aside from these colorful clothes, the fabrics are also made into pillows, and other home accessories and shirts for men, women and clothing for children. The store also sells straw hats and caps, jewelry, T-shirts, wind chimes, and Caribbean crafts, some of them imported from Haiti.
