ISKCON Temple

The ISCKON temple located in Siliguri is a very popular place among local people as well as tourists visiting Siliguri. The Hare Krishna Movement or the International Society for Krishna Consciousness ISKCON is in charge of management of the temple. The temple has the idols of Radha Madhav which is nothing but an image of Lord Krishna with his wife Radha. The temple also has the idols of Lord Narasimha, Advaita Acharya, Lord Chaitanya and others. The temple is constructed according to the Indian customs of 'Vashtuhaara.' The temple also has lustrous walls and marble floors and is located some 16 km from Bagdogra.
