Expatriates love this place, and you'll find it filled with revelers just about every night of the week. The traditional Irish pub sits within the sprawling Aviation Club complex, with most of the action happening in the pub's outdoor beer garden. It sometimes seems that every Westerner in the city has descended on this spot, throwing back pints of Guinness or Kilkenny beer and spreading good cheer. The food is certainly not high-end cuisine, and includes the obligatory fish and chips, as well as Bangers in Mash (pork sausages on top of mashed potatoes with onion gravy). Sports run nonstop on the TV screens inside, and this place goes wild during football (soccer) games. The Irish village is as fun for singles as for groups of friends, since it's very easy to meet people here. Live music and other events happen regularly.
