Indo-Japanese-Srilankan Temple at Kushinagar was built by the Atago Isshin World Buddhist Cultural Association. The temple has a beautiful Ashta Dhatu (eight metals) statue of Lord Buddha, brought from Japan. The temple consists of a single circular chamber within which there is a golden image of Buddha. It is softly lit through small, stained-glass window.
