The Baptist Spiritual Renewal at New Jerusalem was organized on October 19, 1985, in a garage of a humble neighborhood of the city of Rio de Janeiro, a community known as Morro da Mangueira. This garage God had begun to operate, but the place could not hold more people who gathered there. Soon the New Jerusalem Church, in a test of faith, began looking for a house to buy. God had promised, and when He promises certainly meets. After a while of searching the church moved to the neighborhood Sampaio. The brothers teamed up even more and the Church kept growing. Lives were saved, healed and delivered by the power of God.
