Hyde Park Village

About

When I asked about great places to shop while visiting Tampa recently, I was pointed to Hyde Park Village to really experience Tampa’s local charm. And, while driving through the village into the (free) parking garage, I knew I would enjoy my day there even before making it into the stores because I was greeted by beautiful landscaping, fountains, and architecture unique for an outdoor shopping center.Meeting the owners and associates of a few locally owned stores was just as pleasant an experience. They were excited about their new stores, the stories of how they made their dreams reality, and how they will collectively bring this hidden shopping district treasure back to life. I was already promising them a second visit!Hyde Park Village announced six new stores opening soon, but because a few were open a little earlier during my visit, I was able to visit a few. I’ll be highlighting them in future posts, but for now, here’s a quick guide:BettyThis bright, airy, women’s boutique offers designs from over 25 designers, with designers who are Florida’s own!
