The Hotel Iris Bar is located on the 2nd floor of the Hotel Iris across from El Parque Central. Unlike many David bars, the music is kept low enough for a a decent conversation, and the interior decorating is remeniscent of the TV show Cheers. The outside balcony overlooks the park and is a great place to simply sip a cold beer and watch the citizenry of David as they go along their daily lives. Because of these qualities, the Hotel Iris Bar is a favorite of expats living in the David-Boquete area, and is a good place for English conversation. A national beer is reasonably priced at 80 cents.
