Hornbill Festival is held at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama near Kohima, the state capital. All the tribes of Nagaland take p art in this festival. The aim of the festival is to revive and protect the rich culture of Nagaland and display its extravaganza and traditions. The festival is appropriately called the "Festival of Festivals" and the "Window to Nagaland." Hornbill festival takes place from December 1 - 10 every year.
