Parramatta Heritage and Visitors Information Centre provides a unique starting point for discovering Parramatta .The Centre combines tourist information, a local research and family history library, art, history or community exhibitions; school holiday programs and education activities all under one roof. A exhibition about the living heritage of Parramatta, featuring artefacts, artworks, oral histories, video and interactive technology. The exhibition traces the development of Parramatta through the experiences of Indigenous Australians, colonial personalities, and families of diverse cultural backgrounds who have all contributed to shaping the areas culture and landscape.
