Henryk Sienkiewicz Museum
21-480 Wola Okrzejska, Poland
About
It's a very nice and warm place! It's a country manor (traditional for not very rich aristocratic families) where the prominent Polish national writer Henryk Sienkiewicz (the author of famous "Quo Vadis") was born. Nearby in the village Okrzeja there is also a mound (1932-1938) with the Sienkiewicz's torso on it (1980). And in the same village there is a nice baroque church founded by the greatgrandmother of Sienkiewicz. The tourist season is from April till November, but during the summer not very big landscape park around the manor is especially nice.
