Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), [2]. This is a premier Engineering College in the region. This is the oldest engineering college of North India, after Roorkee. This was established in 1921 by the then Governer of United Province (now Uttar Pradesh) Sir Harcourt Butler. It has a sprawling 280 acres lush green campus having almost all the branches of engineering and Chemical-Technolgy.
