But it is more famous for its custom-made qipao stitched with great care by veteran tailors trained in the art in the 1930s. The qipao has become popular due to actress Maggie Cheung, who wore several of them in the film "In the Mood for Love". As a result, many women flock to this shop and get their clothes stitched even at high prices.
