The Halliday Wildlife Sanctuary, commonly called Halliday Island, is one of the three Wildlife Sanctuaries of the Sundarbans Biosphere Reserve, the other two being the Sajnekhali Wild Life Sanctuary and the Lothian Wildlife Sanctuary. This Island is situated on the river Matla, very close to the confluence of the Bay of Bengal.
