Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple & Ettumanoor Mahadevar Temple. Chottanikkara Bhagavathy temple is the most important Temple among the 393 shrines spread over 3 Districts of Kerala. The Divine Mother known as Rajarajeswari (Adiparasakthi) is worshipped here in three forms Saraswathy in the morning, Lakshmi at noon & Durga in the evening. The temple complex consists of Kizhukkavu Bhagavathy temple, temples for Sastha, Siva, Ganapathi, Nagas & other Upa-Devas. The pleasant atmosphere in the temple gives mental peace & harmony to devotees. Ettumanoor Mahadeva temple is famous for its murals, especially the painting of Nataraja in the gopuram and ezharaponnana (the seven-and-a-half elephants finished in gold).
