Castle placed at the cliff of Kyan cape which is at the southern most Okinawa. Castle located in the west coast cliff of Kyan cape which is at the southern most Okinawa. The castle gates face the sea from the eastside. The height of castle wall is 5-10m, the Westside gate is ashlars maso, and along the cliff Nomendumi stone walls encircles. The precise constructing year is unknown, although it is said that Aji (feudal lord) of Gushikawa Castle, Kume Island was chased and ran to Kyan and built this castle.
