The Gurdwara Jhira Sahib is situated at a distance of 18 km from the city of Sangrur, on the Sangrur-Ludhiana Road of Kanjhla Village. It has been visited by the first, sixth and ninth Sikh gurus, namely Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji and Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited this place during his first preaching tour, while Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji stayed in this place during his trip to Darauli Bhai Village. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji came to this place during his journey of the Malwa region.
