The Gupta Temple was built in the 5th century AD. In fact, this is one of the earliest specimens of Indian architecture. The Gupta temple stands as a witness to the traditions of ancient India. It is situated in a huge compound that has a crowning shelf, intermediate shelf and lower shelf. The temple is located in the intermediate level. The temple structure has a covered compartment as well as a pillar that overhangs at the entrance.
