Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club was the first modern-day golfing establishment in the China and the only one designed by two of the most famous golf architects: Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. Chung Shan's first 18 holes opened in 1984 have the signature of Palmer who built a course that requires golfers to make precise shots. The seconds 18-holes occupy an area of 80 hectares, east of Palmers ones and were opened by the year 1993
