Groove

The old Groove in the building-gone-wrong, Liberty, has moved to a better location. This home away from home is just a chill place to rub shoulders and dance the night away to Bangkok's up-and-coming bands.

 Think industrialist Modernism (outside) meets retro pop (inside). The shareholders, which consist of some engineers and architects had a go at the place and in the end came out with the interesting concept of a homey ambience in a barebones structure of bare concrete and iron framework. The "living room" is lounge with different comfy chairs and couches. The second floor, which is a wrap-around balcony, has a pool table, smoking balcony, VIP "bedroom" lounge (think comfy couches) and a dessert parlor selling iberry ice cream and Visage cakes. Outside, chill in the fengshui-styled garden and pond. With so many different nooks and crannies to choose from, everyone can find their space.
