This conveniently-located restaurant lies on the main street of Ubud, just next to the Pura Dalem where the Kecak (Monkey Chant) performance takes place on Friday nights. Set above a ravine, Griya's BBQ provides a quiet setting for a lovely dinner or lunch. Ice cold beer and some of the best fried peanuts around make a good start to the meal. With a secret barbecue sauce, owner Gus Aji serves up a yummy tuna, chicken or beef barbie that is not spicy yet has a full, rich flavor. Other popular choices include pastas, served with a slightly sweet tomato sauce. Bring your own alcohol without having to pay any corkage charge.
