A beautiful pagoda-style building houses this elegant restaurant featuring fine Italian food. The interior is richly styled with a carved teak decor, old-fashioned oil lamps and pale sea-green tablecloths-very classy!
Come for their lunch buffets or order from an extensive menu of a la carte entrees ranging from osso buco to homemade pasta. La Gritta is in an elegant Thai-style pavilion adjoining the Amari Hotel located to the west of town. The dining room is done up in rich, carved teak, and candlelight conspires with a sultry live jazz band to make for a delightful evening. Authentic Italian dishes include fresh pasta cooked to order at a pasta station. A great wine list compliments any entree.
