Great Mosque of Rome

The Mosque of Rome is located in the north of the city , at the foot of the mountains Parioli , in the area of ' Water Sorrel and is the seat of the Islamic Cultural Center of Italy . It was the largest mosque in Europe until 27/09/12, is set on 30,000 m⊃2; of land and can accommodate up to 12 000 faithful, and in the days of major holidays, such as the Feast of the Sacrifice, an influx of approximately 30000-40000 faithful. The mosque provides, as well as a point of aggregation and reference in the field of religion, even cultural and social services variously related to membership in the faith Islam : weddings, funerals assistance, exegesis , conferences, and much more
