Founded in 1920, the Granite Curling Club is the oldest in Alberta and it's considered to be one of the most go ahead too, scoring firsts with the introduction of colored rings, ice skating on the rink, man-made ice, and the concept of double knockout competitions. Major tournaments hosted at the club can draw crowds of up to 5,000. Out of season, a function room and a trade show area are available for hire. Check website for more details.
